Who's behind it
Redbud Way is built and run by me, Adam Williams, a software engineer. There's no sales team and no call center. When you email, I read it and I answer it.
I built it for small service businesses (cleaners, pool techs, plumbers, handymen) that need to get paid by card but don't need a full field-service suite with a monthly bill to match.
Why is it free?
Because it costs me almost nothing to run your account. Payments run on your own Stripe account, and Stripe bills its standard fees to you directly, so there's no payment cost for me to pass on, and Redbud Way charges 0%. The tools to get paid (invoices, quotes, booking and recurring billing) are free and will stay free. If I ever add paid extras, they'll be optional conveniences on top. Where your money goes
Your customers pay on a secure Stripe page, and the money lands in your own Stripe account, not ours. Stripe pays it out to your bank. You get a full Stripe Dashboard, so you can see every payment and payout there yourself, and if you ever stop using Redbud Way, your Stripe account and its history stay with you.
